Motivational Concepts
Be Energetic
I am Alive, Vibrant, and Energetic!
While I want to feel energized and enthusiastic all the time, sometimes I may feel tired, not myself, not concentrated.
When I do not feel motivated or uplifted, I pause to rethink my situation.
I Take a slow Deep Breath and make an internal change.
What is my change today?
My energy shifts completely when I allow myself to be positive or when I have a sense of being part of something greater.
I Become Uplifted, Encouraged, Fearless.
I have all the energy I need.
I am alive, vibrant, and energetic.
I vow to make a change—to get a good night’s sleep.
I Breathe Deeply and enjoy good nourishing thoughts only.
I plan time in Prayer, Meditation and Exercise for my body.
I am Revitalized Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, and Spiritually.
Stay Strong, Breathe Deep, Focus Clearly to be Alive, Vibrant, and Energetic!

Develop Courage to Become a Motivated Shot Maker
Master a Smooth Back Stroke
A former student of mine and a very good Shot Maker was in Norfolk, Virginia for the Barry Behrmans/Pat Fleming International 9 Ball Tournaments. The Major Global 9-Ball Event. He was there to play and contacted me for help with his
game.
He told me that the Back-Swing was not so important as long as your Stroke Forward was pure.
I informed him that the Back-Swing is Extremely Important, and often neglected. Because if you pull/slide the Cue Stick Smoothly Back on a Straight Line, it's much easier to come through on a Straight line. He liked that.
Then he asked me “what are the professional players doing right” and I said:
"The professionals do a number of little things right, and they practice the little things Relentlessly, Consistently, with Discipline and Diligence“.
The next day, He called me, to thank me for what I said. He told me that his game had transformed and he was playing like he has never played before, he felt like the Sharpshooter he once was, years ago when he was playing more pool. His Stroke Smoothed Out and His Confidence Bolted. He was Happy!
You see, you can do it too. Learn how to do all the Little, yet important things well, and then keep doing them every time you play.
Master the things that make you Solid, and it all adds up to a Solid game.
This multi-skill awareness will help you focus on the process for success each and every shot, so that the good results will follow. You will improve faster.
Eventually, with the right Practice Methods and Coaching it becomes second nature.
Go through all of your skills and make sure you are doing the little things like: Taking a Deep Breath, Staying down, Maintain a Solid Bridge, Seeking to Find your Stroking Line before you get into your stance. Get your Chin very close over the Cue Stick, Keep Your Eyes Level with the Pool Table, Focus on the Ghost Ball/Target, Be Confident and Stroke Smooth Always.
That's what Steven Brownstone Billiards is all about: Learning and Mastering Small Little Skills that Yield Great Results. The Shot Maker Solid Building Blocks will give you no other option but to Play Great Pool on a consistent basis. Please Contact Me when you are Ready to Excel.
